Complications: Chronograph
Case Type: Full Stainless Steel Screwback

I I really love look of the reverse panda dial on this Landeron-driven chronograph. Podium 2000 is a great example of a pre-quartz-crisis Swiss watch “micro-brand,” where small distributors, jewelers, and export agents could contract various Swiss ebauche manuafacturers to assemble all the parts needed to build a watch.

By the way, one of these days I’m going to take this thing apart again and fix the slightly off-center chronograph second hand. It’s not loose - I guess I just wasn’t quite as anal when I originally serviced and reassembled this guy (getting chronograph hands installed so they center perfectly is actually quite tricky).
